Jacqueline A. Criswell

Jacqueline Criswell is a partner in the firm's Chicago office. She chairs the Commercial Litigation Group and has been a litigator for over 26 years. She is an active member of the Federal Trial Bar, Federal Bar Association and International Trademark Association.

Jackie specializes in the handling of complex litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property, Internet liability, advertising matters and professional liability. She is a lecturer on trademark, trade dress, copyright, patent and Internet claims, electronic technology issues and director and officer liability.

Additionally, Jackie has been recognized as one of the top intellectual property litigation attorneys in Illinois for the past three years, most recently in the February 2007 issue of Chicago magazine, as well as the 2007 Illinois Super Lawyers® magazine.

She also acts as an Arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers, the National Futures Association and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. She is admitted to practice in a number of Federal courts throughout the country.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Jackie received her B.M. from Wheaton College with highest honors in 1978 and her law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1981. Jackie joined Tressler, Soderstrom, Maloney & Priess, LLP in 1984 after representing large corporate debtors in bankruptcy proceedings for a premier bankruptcy boutique firm in Chicago.
