Daniel J. Cunningham

Daniel Cunningham is a partner in the firm's Chicago office. His current practice involves first and third party insurance coverage and bad faith litigation stemming primarily from defective product claims, environmental claims, and advertising injury claims. Dan also counsels insurers with regard to claim handling and underwriting issues. He also defends manufacturers in product liability actions, including toxic tort cases.

Born in Springfield, Pennsylvania, Dan received his undergraduate degree from University of Iowa. He went on to receive his law degree from DePaul University College of Law. Currently, Dan is a member of the Defense Research Institute and Illinois Association of Defense Counsel. Dan has been recognized as one of the top insurance coverage attorneys in Illinois, most recently in the February 2008 issue of Chicago magazine, as well as Illinois Super Lawyers® magazine.
