Bill Katris

Bill Katris is a litigation partner in the firm's Chicago office, where he handles a wide variety of securities and commercial litigation matters. Bill has both prosecuted and defended numerous claims for business defamation and personal injury.

In addition to being a member of the Defense Research Institute, Bill is a member of the American, Illinois State, and Chicago Bar Associations.

Born in Waukegan, Illinois, Bill received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University - Chicago, cum laude, and his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Bill completed Chicago-Kent College of Law's certificate programs in Environmental and Energy Law as well as International and Comparative Law. While at Chicago-Kent, Bill focused on international intellectual property issues and world trade agreements. Bill has also studied International trade relations at King's College of London, England. As well, he completed Loyola University's International Business Studies Program in Rome, Italy.
