James A. Pinderski

James Pinderski is a partner in the Chicago office. His work with the firm is concentrated in the areas of insurance coverage litigation, complex commercial litigation, and reinsurance. Jim has handled insurance related disputes throughout the country, including those involving issues of general coverage, environmental coverage, advertising injury/personal injury coverage, asbestos coverage, directors & officers coverage and bad faith. Jim is Co-Chair of the firm's Extracontractual Liability and Claims Handling Practice Group.

Jim received his undergraduate degree (magna cum laude) and J.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He is a frequent lecturer and has authored numerous articles on insurance-related issues. Additionally, Jim has been recognized as one of the top insurance coverage attorneys in Illinois for the past four years, most recently in the February 2008 issue of Chicago magazine, as well as the 2008 Illinois Super Lawyers® magazine.
