Kathleen A. Sweitzer

Kathleen Sweitzer is a partner in the firm's Chicago office, and she focuses her practice on insurance coverage, litigation, bad faith and ERISA matters.

Kathleen is a member of the American, Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations and the Defense Research Institute. In addition, she is a past Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section, Employee Benefits Committee.

Kathleen is a published author on ERISA issues, and editor and contributing author of ERISA Hotline. She is also a frequent lecturer and speaker on ERISA issues.

Kathleen received her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Illinois and her law degree from California Western School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Hawaii and Illinois, before the Fourth, Sixth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, U.S. District Courts of Hawaii and Northern Illinois, and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar.
