Shama Patel

Shama Patel is an associate in the firm's Chicago office. She is a member of the insurance coverage, commercial litigation, and aviation teams.

Shama graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She received her J.D. in 2008 from The University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City, Iowa.

In addition to her work with the firm, Shama has participated in, as well as served as a board member, for the Van Oosterhaut Moot Court Competition while at the University of Iowa.

Prior to joining the firm, Shama worked as a financial consultant for Accenture Consulting.

Shama is a member of the Illinois State and American Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
