Huma P. Shah

Huma Shah is an associate in the Chicago office where she focuses her practice on insurance coverage, insurance litigation and bad faith litigation.

Huma has had extensive litigation experience in prosecuting and defending personal injury matters in the past including trying a number of cases to verdict. Since then Huma's national practice has focused primarily upon insurance coverage and bad faith issues. Huma joined the firm from CNA Insurance Company where she oversaw the management of highly complex extracontractual liability claims filed against CNA.

Huma is a member of the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Huma also serves as a member of the Associate Board of Ambassadors for the Illinois Division of the American Cancer Society.

Huma received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
