Adam Hackett practices in civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution and counseling. Adam handles all types of complex litigation including insurance coverage litigation, bad faith litigation, business litigation, construction related litigation and other commercial contract litigation. Adam’s insurance coverage practice has included coverage matters involving asbestos, environmental, toxic torts, construction defects, advertising injury and bad faith.
Adam has presented at Tressler's annual "Hot Topics in Insurance Law" seminar on real-life solutions for common problems facing independent counsel as well as at the PLRB Western Regional Adjusters Conference on additional insured issues. Adam is an associate editor of the firm's monthly bad faith publication, Extra! Extra! as well as a contributor to the firm's monthly directors and officers liability coverage publication, the Specialty Lines Advisory. While studying for his law degree, Adam was a member of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review.
