Amber’s practice focuses on insurance coverage counseling and litigation. Amber advises insurers on coverage issues with regard to commercial general liability, errors and omissions, and property policies. Amber has represented primary, umbrella and excess liability insurers in state and federal declaratory judgment actions involving underlying claims of trademark and trade dress infringement, personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, construction defect, pollution, contamination, sexual abuse and employment discrimination. Additionally, Amber has defended first-party and third-party insurers against claims for breach of contract and bad faith in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
Amber has significant litigation experience. She has completed more than 200 depositions of both lay and expert witnesses. Amber has successfully argued discovery and dispositive motions. She has obtained favorable results for her clients at mediation, arbitration and trial.
