Anthony Balice concentrates his practice in the area of insurance coverage. He regularly represents insurance companies in insurance disputes involving the availability of insurance coverage under professional liability policies, employers’ liability policies and healthcare professional liability policies. He has defended insurance companies in state and federal lawsuits for declaratory judgment, breach of contract and bad faith under various types of policies in numerous jurisdictions. Anthony advises insurance companies on their obligations to defend and indemnify insureds for claims under commercial general liability policies, professional liability policies and employers’ liability policies. Additionally, he has participated in complex multi-party mediations involving the availability of employers’ liability coverage for damages in a qui tam lawsuit and the availability of insurance coverage for latent defects in the construction of building projects.
In addition to his practice, Anthony is a marathon runner. He has completed two Chicago marathons and will take on the Philadelphia marathon next.
