Elizabeth Mathieson practices in the areas of commercial and general civil litigation, surety and fidelity bond claims and construction litigation. She appears in court regularly on behalf of clients ranging from closely held companies to fortune 500 corporations.
Among her many accomplishments, Elizabeth successfully arbitrated a construction case on behalf of a general contractor client resulting in complete recovery; assisted in the defense of the owner and general contractor for the construction of a multi-million dollar school resulting in a favorable settlement; and successfully negotiated and settled various disputes on behalf of a corporate client with legal claims against several top tier law firms.
Elizabeth is co-chair of Tressler’s Women’s Initiative, a group devoted to the advancement and professional development of female attorneys within the firm. She also serves as a delegate to the Chicago Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law Firms, an organization comprised of women leaders from more than 30 local law firms.
