Evan primarily advises and represents companies in commercial disputes; handling all types of complex litigation including copyright, trademark, product defect, financial, antitrust and other intellectual property related litigation. Evan has successfully litigated in a variety of state and federal trial courts as well as winning appeals at both state appellate level and in both the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Evan has also represented insurers in high profile coverage disputes with an emphasis on potentially high exposure bad faith claims. In addition, Evan has experience in both probate and bankruptcy issues. Evan is a well regarded lecturer and presenter with a focus on the discovery and evidentiary issues as well as first party insurance issues. Evan is a graduate of Columbia Law School and clerked for Judge J. Thomas Greene, United States District Judge for the District of Utah. Evan is proficient in Spanish.
