Jacqueline Criswell chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property group and has been a commercial litigator for more than 28 years. Her practice focuses on the handling of complex litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property, Internet liability, advertising matters and professional liability. She is a frequent lecturer on trademark, trade dress, copyright, patent and Internet claims. Jackie also provides counseling on cyberspace and electronic technology issues. She is the editor of the firm’s Internet and Intellectual Property Law Update, a quarterly newsletter.
Jackie has achieved an AV® Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence. She was also selected for inclusion in Illinois Super Lawyers®. Jackie acts as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers, the National Futures Association and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and is admitted to practice in a number of federal courts throughout the country. Prior to joining the firm in 1984, Jackie represented large corporate debtors in bankruptcy proceedings for a premier bankruptcy boutique firm in Chicago.
