Katherine Liner’s practice in the firm’s Orange County office is focused on insurance coverage and litigation. She advises and represents insurers with respect to various types of insurance policies and coverage issues involving commercial and personal lines policies and first-party and third-party claims. Katherine has litigated coverage disputes, bad faith claims, contribution and subrogation actions and complex environmental/asbestos insurance coverage matters. Her trial and litigation experience includes practice in state and federal courts and before the American Arbitration Association, where she has defended corporate and individual clients in a variety of matters involving toxic tort, product liability, breach of contract, premises liability, wrongful death and professional negligence.
Katherine is a contributing author to the firm's insurance coverage publication regarding extra-contractual liability, Extra! Extra!, and the firm's specialty lines publication, Specialty Lines Advisory. She has served as the co-chair of the firm's "Hot Topics" seminar in California for several years. Katherine is also a frequent presenter at the “Hot Topics” and other seminars. Additionally, Katherine enjoys judging and coaching trial and appellate moot court programs for high school and law students and is active in her community. She was co-chair of the fundraising committee of the Irvine-Kadima Chapter of Hadassah, a philanthropic organization, in 2008 and 2009.
