Michael Duffy is a partner based in the Chicago office of Tressler LLP. Michael has more than 20 years of experience in insurance coverage, extracontractual and reinsurance matters. He focuses his practice in the areas of insurance coverage litigation, reinsurance matters, bad faith, commercial and contractual disputes. Michael regularly advises clients with respect to insurance coverage issues, drafts insurance policy language and litigates coverage and bad faith cases for insurance and reinsurance companies.
In 2011, Michael was selected for inclusion in Illinois Super Lawyers®. In the community, Michael is involved with the Friends of the Orphans Charity, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned children in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the Gateway Foundation. He also served as the DePaul University College of Law Alumni Liaison and as a lector for St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church.
