Firm Changes Name

CHICAGO -– Tressler Soderstrom Maloney & Priess LLP has changed its name to Tressler LLP.

Tressler is recognized for serving as counsel in business and financial crises, insurance coverage matters, class actions suits and high profile litigation in courts throughout the United States. The firm has handled such notable matters as Hurricane Katrina, the subprime mortgage crisis, the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, the Bernie Madoff scandal, the Roman Catholic Church sex abuse cases, and the recent pet food contamination cases.

Of the change, Dan Formeller, managing partner and co-founder of the firm says “even with our new name, we are the same firm, same attorneys with the same ideals and core values. We remain committed to providing excellent client service through our exceptional professionals and staff. We will continue to reinvent ourselves in new and exciting ways, with our clients’ interests and our employees’ well-being as the focal points of our business plan.”

Members of the firm include past presidents of the Defense Research Institute, a past president of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, the first female president of Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, and the founder of the Professional Liability Underwriters Society D&O Symposium.

Along with the new name, Tressler LLP has unveiled a new look which includes a new logo and web site. Electronic addresses for the firm’s employees will change to @tresslerllp.com.

Tressler LLP is a full-service firm of more than 135 attorneys practicing in seven offices across the country.
