Tressler, Soderstrom, Maloney & Priess, LLP's Product Liability and Complex Technical Litigation Team understands that a systematic application of the scientific method is the key to effectively litigating a complex technical claim. We balance that disciplined approach with pragmatic and cost effective legal advice. Many of the Team's members have technical or engineering backgrounds, and all have experience handling product liability and complex or technical litigation. We have defended manufacturers, distributors, and sellers against a variety of claims, including strict liability, negligence, and breach of warranty. We specialize in the immediate and long-term management of catastrophic losses and mass exposure claims. We are also experienced in assembling a rapid response group of attorneys and engineers to investigate major accidents and preserve evidence.Our Team offers product safety and risk prevention counseling to our clients' Safety Committees, and we help to establish a Safety Committee, if needed. Our firm has established a national reputation in product safety and risk prevention counseling and when necessary, handling product liability and complex technical litigation. We have offices in Chicago and on both coasts, in Los Angeles and Orange County, and Newark and New York. From these offices, we handle cases locally and nationally. We have the experience and capacity to serve as national coordinating counsel as well as defense counsel in virtually all locales.
We also use our expertise to prosecute negligence, product liability, warranty and contractual liability claims against manufacturers, distributors, sellers, and their technical advisors and outside consultants.
Our attorneys are skilled in all forms of alternative dispute resolution. Several of our attorneys have had special training as mediators and arbitrators from the Harvard Law School program, the American Arbitration Association and others.
