Bloomberg, a partner in the firm, was one of the founding members of the Condominium Association Institute (CAI) and has authored numerous publications, including the Institute of Real Estate Management book on Homeowners and Managers Guide to Condominium Management. We have also litigated numerous issues on behalf of associations in the state and federal courts, including the Illinois Supreme Court and the Indiana Supreme Court. Many of our cases have set new laws in Illinois, such as Apple II Condominium Association v. Worth Bank and Trust Co., which established that associations have the right to amend their declarations to restrict leasing of units.
