Shevonn Willis focuses her practice on insurance coverage and employment litigation. Shevonn's insurance coverage practice includes advising insurance companies on complex insurance coverage matters throughout the United States including claims involving sexual abuse, torture, pollution, product liability, copyright infringement and construction defects. She prepares coverage opinions and litigates claims in both state and federal court, through appeal. In her employment practice, Shevonn has served as the principal attorney representing various corporations in cases before the Illinois Human Rights Commission and has advised employers on a variety of employment matters. Prior to her work with the firm, Shevonn held a judicial externship with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Shevonn is also a contributor to the Specialty Lines Advisory, a monthly publication distributed to the firm’s specialty lines clients. In addition to her practice, Shevonn is a member of the Future Leaders Counsel of the YWCA and is a board member of Level Playing Field.
