Si-Yong Yi practices in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial bankruptcy matters, and intellectual property matters. In the commercial litigation context, Si-Yong represents her clients in litigation related to product liability, breach of fiduciary duty, contract disputes, unfair competition, defamation, and employment. Si-Yong has mediated cases involving product liability matters and defamation matters, resulting in favorable resolutions for her clients. Si-Yong also was a part of the Tressler team of attorneys that successfully litigated a multi-million dollar case involving breach of fiduciary duty claims and trade secret misappropriation claims that resulted in a favorable settlement.
In commercial bankruptcy context, Si-Yong was a part of a team of Tressler attorneys that recently successfully represented the Chapter 11 Trustee in a bankruptcy case. Si-Yong also resolved numerous preference claims filed against her clients with favorable results. In the intellectual property area, Si-Yong has represented her clients in copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and trade secret misappropriation cases.
Si-Yong represents her clients in federal, state, and bankruptcy courts. In addition, she is actively involved in representing her clients in all matters of litigation, including pre-litigation counseling, discovery, courtroom advocacy, and preparation of cases for trial.
