Todd Schenk’s practice is concentrated in insurance coverage counseling and litigation, with a particular emphasis on claims involving advertising injury, product liability, technology, errors and omissions, property, and extracontractual liability and claims-handling practices. Many of his cases require the defense of common law and statutory bad faith claims which Todd litigates in venues around the country.
Todd has received an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell which is “a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence.” Todd has been selected for inclusion in Illinois Super Lawyers® for the past 6 years, most recently in February 2010. A frequent author and lecturer, Todd has written and spoken on topics including pre-tender defense costs, lost insurance policies, allocation, advertising and personal injury, good faith claims handling, choice of law, extracontractual liability and e-discovery. In addition to his practice, Todd is very active in his community’s church and coaches his park district’s youth soccer, baseball and basketball teams.
