Zhanna Rondel Plotkin focuses her practice on complex insurance issues, insurance analysis, insurance-related litigation and reinsurance. She represents insurance companies with respect to insurance coverage and reinsurance litigation in state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings. Zhanna regularly advises insurers and reinsurers on coverage and reinsurance matters including claims against policy holders, the evaluation of insurance and reinsurance issues and evaluation of underlying claims and lawsuits.
Zhanna's experience includes representing clients involved in coverage litigation stemming from toxic substance exposure and Chinese Drywall in addition to experience representing cedents and reinsurers in reinsurance related litigation and arbitrations. Among other accomplishments in the field, Zhanna successfully represented an insurer in a multi-million dollar arbitration against a reinsurer which resulted in a unanimous ruling in the client's favor by the panel.
